My UX process for remote clients can include qualitative and quantitative data; and will depend on what resources and time we have available. In this particular project, I use a lot of information from Google Analytics and understanding user problems and goals by speaking to potential customers.
What information can we prioritise on the page so users can find what they’re looking for quickly and easily? How can we design this site to speak to ideal clients, not clients we don’t want.
I typically start with sketches and flesh out how this could work. From there I’ll move to digital wireframes and start building a prototype to test how the website may work with real users.
Project timelines can vary from a few weeks to months depending on what is learnt during the process, the number of changes and input that is made into the project and features we’re adding.
